Post subject:  This Month's Round of Admin Changes
First off, I'd like to extend a big old fat "Thank you" to everyone in this community for making this place the most awesome place to play CS:S on the entire Internet. You guys rock. We've got some exciting things coming up in the next few coming months, and it's all possible because of you guys and gals. I'd also like to take a minute to thank all of our administrative staff on all levels, from the Elders and Ancients that I work with every day to the folks on the Council and server admins that do most of the grunt work around here. I swear, if we had any more folks putting in their valuable time working for this place, it'd be a sweat shop.

The level of participation and effort from the members in this community is unlike anything I've ever seen, and thanks are due to each and every one of you.

A special thanks goes out to Spidey for helping get the Council organized and moving with more fluidity than we've seen in a while, and to high and aCId_rAIn for their help organizing the tournaments that everyone loves so much.

Before I wrap my lips around each and every one of your dicks, let's get on with it.

These folks have been promoted:

  • Loke (from Colonel to General) - Loke was promoted for his hard work in the gameserver and on the Council. He's been an admin for a long time, and we have never received a SINGLE abuse complaint about him. He logs more time in the server than anyone. And when I say anyone, I mean anyone.
  • Tikimon (from Major to Colonel) - Tiki has also been an admin for a good while, and is also working with Spidey in making several process improvement changes within the Council. Again, we've never received a single abuse complaint about him either.
  • 12@G3 (from Major to Colonel) - While he's a scary, scary motherfucker... he's got the heart of a teddybear. This guy is rock solid. He's been a member of this community longer than most of you guys reading this, and he's been a rock-solid admin almost the entire time. Rage, you rock. Keep it up, buddy. I'm glad to see you're stepping up your forum activity and participating in quite a few of the daily scrims that some of our members have put together.
  • DirkDeagler (from Captain to Major) - Aside from sucking at Counter-Strike (aside from the occasional randy clutch during a tourney [that's still under investigation by the NBI]), he's been a pretty solid admin. This dude has definitely got a good head on his shoulders.
  • Reborn (from Captain to Major) - This guy didn't even want admin. We sorta forced it on him, and he's doing a great job. He's got a level-head on his shoulders, and is a well-regarded and valued member of our community.
  • Monk (from Lieutenant to Captain) - This guy (much like Loke) has no life. He lives in the server and does a great job policing it, even though he's one of our younger admins.

New Admins -- make us proud.
  • Cpt Carrot (starts at Sergeant)
  • Shredder (starts at Sergeant)

And now, the bad news...

These admins were demoted for inactivity:

SirDiesAlot (from Colonel to Major)
Mindless (from Captain to Sergeant)

The following admins were cut due to inactivity:

OhMalley
Ruger9
Brand
Fishkilla
DocWonder

Any admin who was cut or demoted for inactivity is welcome to pick their activity back up and email the Elders for reinstatement. We don't have a problem reinstating folks if they're going to be playing/posting more frequently. It's nothing personal, folks -- we just don't need admins taking up slots on our roster who don't play.
