I wrote a GUI for our members here at n00bfest. It comes with an automatic installer, so all you need to do is change the install directory to your steam user name. There's a ton of cool features included in version 1.0, but I need your help in identifying new features to include for later versions. The installer also has an uninstaller included as well if you choose to remove it. One of the coolest features I have added to this GUI is the "SET MAX RATES" command, which you can see in the second screenshot. Clicking this will automatically set your rates to:

cl_updaterate 100
cl_cmdrate 100
rate 30000

in one click.
Instead of yelling at those who have no idea how to fix their rates, they can auto-install the GUI and set their rates easily!

If you are having issues getting the GUI to work with the installer, click HERE to download the manual install. It includes a readme file that will show you how to install/remove the GUI. If you resort to using the manual install because the auto-install didn't work, please post in this thread so I know!

Why is it that whenever new stuff comes up about things you do, it lets me know on my G2. Like when you're DJ'ing or this post etc.

meh, its not working. I'll go into source and the GUI will be the standard Source GUI. And yes, I put my steam name in the right place.

Are the show fps and netgraph toggles or do you have to turn them off on your own, because that'd be pretty sweet if it was a toggle for netgraph 1/2/3/0 and showfps 1/0.

I'd use it if I was in the hunt for a new GUI.

They are toggles.
net_graph toggles from 3 to 0.
showfps toggles from 1 to 0.

Yeah, I thought 0/3 at first, but a lot of people like to get into other info from netgraph that they get from the running graphs.

I love the reconnect thing too. You should change the report bug to something else or get rid of it, no one reports bugs anymore in Source, and if they did, they aren't going to get changed. Dunno about the stress test, kinda 50/50 on leaving that. Maybe a re-word on a few of the menus too, like server list changed to "non-n00bfest servers" and quit to "crybaby" giving it more of a n00bfest feel besides the background. Just trying to give ideas..

Ok i downloaded it via the installer and clicked the accepte and all that jazz and then it said something about The destination directory doesnt exist...create it Yes or No....So i click yes cause i just keep clicking till it lets me do things...i bring up CSS and nothing changed...am i n00b and doing something wrong lol? I did change the name wehre it says "YOUR STEAM NAME HERE" i put my steam name in it (not my noob name)

Also i tryed the manual install and since its in a .rar file my computer loves me and opens it or well trys to in windows media player and apparently i dont have a zip program on here O.o which i thought i did lol

I did...but it wants me to register winzip now wont let me use it for free anymore :/

Ok i dl'd 7 zip and i unzipped it into my doc file so i could read the readme file that acid kindly gave us i then unzipped it into the right folder that the readme said /Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/yoursteamname/counter-strike source/ and i replaced "yoursteamname" with my steam name and its in there but when i load CSS it still same old background am i doing something totally wrong here?

Acid, i never released my GUI but its badass. I'm having a problem where while in-game you cant see your health, only armor, ammo etc.

Wanna help me? I'll send you all the raw files and shit.
