Some of you have already had the pleasure of playing there. Report any problems via email to "it" or "elders" (at) n00bfest.com. The server runs at 100tic, has all weapons enabled, alltalk enabled (just like everywhere else), no betting, bounties disabled, and only slay/forgive for tkpunish options. Oh, and I've just enabled a 60-second grenades-and-knives warmup timer (similar to what the gungame server has). There are ten maps on the rotation for now: de_crane de_inferno_pro de_cpl_strike de_season de_nuke de_train de_cpl_mill de_russka de_tuscan de_dust2 Any suggestions for maps can be posted here, but we're going to keep it strictly league/competition maps at least in the beginning. Enjoy! PS: a mappack containing the Elite Server's maps and all necessary files should be added to the downloads page within a couple of days. |

In the hayday of n00bfest when I ran the Elite Server in CZ, it was almost always full (along with our huge main server). We'd play league maps, funmaps, and pretty much everything in between. Most folks who played there got a LOT better, 'cause of the higher caliber of players there. Start playing in there from time to time and you should see an improvement in your game. After a while, too, you might start seeing some crazy ass maps. We'll see. |

Wow, sounds awesome, I'm gonna check that out in a few minutes! The warmup sounds fun, should be cool to try it out AND I've never played a couple of these maps so it should be interesting! |

I really like this server. My ping is 40-50 less than to normal n00bfest, which leaves me less excusage for sucking. |
