First off, thanks for all of the donations to make this happen. I've spent the better part of the day getting this configured (with fomenta's help). With the cost of the new box, we're still around $100 short on donations for the month, but CorpseHumper has decided to pick up the slack. It'd be nice if the donations kept coming until we hit $540 or so, as he's paying for the difference out of his own pocket and he doesn't even play CS:S more than once every six months or so.

Let's get down to brass tacks, though. We've purchased a new machine from colocrossing.com.

It's got an Intel Core2Quad 2.4GHz (quad core) CPU and 8GB DDR2 Memory.

It should be able to give us 250 gameserver slots. This means, in the very near future, n00bfest.com will have available the following:

- 32 player 66tic CS:S server -- our new Main, with all of the same configuration as our last one, except a lot more stable)
- 16 player 100tic CS:S server -- the "elite" server; it'll have all weapons enabled and a league rotation
- 16 player 66/100tic (not sure about the ticrate yet) CS:S server -- a funmaps server; probably gungame or something like that
- 12 player 100tic CS:S server - private w/ HLTV for scrims/matches
- 12 player 100tic CS 1.6 server - private w/ HLTV for scrims/matches
- 12 player 100tic CZ server - private w/ HLTV for scrims/matches

All of the private scrim/match servers will be available upon request. We'll likely set up some sort of ticketing system or reservation system for getting access to them, but they'll all be made free to n00b members through the power of donations.

We will also be taking requests for additional games. If someone wants to rent their own private non-n00bfest-affiliated server from us, PM me and we can arrange that as well.

Even with all of these servers 100% full (which probably won't happen any time soon), we still won't be using more than 40% of our available resources.

n00bfest is about to get super-serious, y'all.

These servers will likely become available on a one-at-a-time basis throughout the course of the next few weeks. We'll be testing them privately first to make sure they're stable, and then start moving folks over to the new main server, which is going to be the first one up.

Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, this is good news. This should definitely get activity going.

Also, if it's used for a match, an admin will spectate some matches. If yours happens to be spectated and you have 11 slots, the HLTV has to go. That rarely happens outside of Finals or Semi-Finals, but it does happen.

Shit and my ping went down to the server and I'm on college wireless, it first started at 125 and this week it is hitting around 80 am I going to expect even lower. GOD MY PENIS IS SO HARD RIGHT NOW.
