So I like music a little bit. Just a little. ok ok, I have a problem! I am always looking for new stuff. I am talking, 5 people at the show new. I prefer to be able to speak with artists after their set. It always makes me feel like I am so much more a part of the experience. Nothing better then being friends with the band members before they have bitches and bouncers. The stories are always doubted when you are recalling them 5 years later. Anyway, If you have someone interesting that you listen to I am down to give any genre a listen. Please SHARE!!! I usually prefer smart music as opposed to attempts at top 40. Intelligence counts in music. and seriously I enjoy pretty much all genres. so even if it is off the wall I will listen. To share. Not too sure about that "smart music" thing, but here are 3 pretty good bands. Misteur Valaire (French Canadian band, they sing mostly in english though), 4 of their albums is available for free on their website (their 2 latest are the best) - This videoclip is quite NSFW because titties ass melon Brad Sucks (Canadian band from Ottawa I believe) where again 2 albums are free and 1 for $5 on their website - I love their style Placebo (not Canadian band) - pretty good too - Never seen live I linked some free music, but seriously, if you dig it, throw a dollar or 2 even if you're broke. They're the kind of guys that I've seen live and they'll definitely give you a handshake and drink a shot with you if you talk with them. |
