It's cool. I just get offended when people say they turned to dubstep because everything else has lost its feel.

Y'all are entitled to your musical tastes, but know that dubstep is musically the equivalent of someone taking a dump on a soundboard. It's the easiest form of music to make as it literally has 0 melody, and you're forced into a specific bassline. Thus - there's a niche for it. One dubstep song is going to be infinitely more like another dubstep song compared to one house song compared to another house song. There's just so much more you can do with house/trance/dance/dnb than you can with dubstep, which means there's more chances to F*CK something up in other forms of music than there is in dubstep. It also means it's a wider range and style of music, which means there will be more musical shit to wade through to find a gem.

Moral of the story: I hate dubstep, as it takes no talent (and sounds like piss.) But if you want bass I can definitely throw enough house/trance/dance/dnb at you to convince you that the rest of the electronica music is still strong.
