hey, i was just thinking about it, i wanted to buy me tickets for a really good rock (alternative, progressive, rock) concert, but actually, i really, really, really don't know who i should take a look at... i wanted to go see 3 of my fav. bands, but unfortunatly, the show is in less than a week, and in fact, it doesnt let me enough time to buy the tickets at a good price to see them... + i gotz schoolz.. (Our lady peace, Incubus and Rage against the Machine) Now im talking to those who like the same kind of music of me, i dont want some retarded ideas like Lady gaga or shits like that... i want concert ideas like Muse or some other really good bands so i could spend an awesome (or the best) night i could ever have. so please, acid or omega or whoever knows anything in music, help me find a great, really great rock band which gives an awesome live performance in like april or may... thanks n00bs |

well tazz, actually, you should grow some balls, death metal, according to me and lots of musicians, is easy F*CKING music, i'd ask any drumers (i pick the drumer cuz im a drummer myself so i know what im talking about) to play jazz, blue grass or fucken reggae and he couldnt even think about doing it, i can F*CKING play with a double-pedal, playing some insane children of bottom shit, but dude, this isnt close to be impressive... im way tired to listen at some F*CKING noise, better like real skills music, you'd know what you're talking about, you'd say the same... dude i'm studying in a music program in college :P dont want to play the smart ass HOMOSEXUAL, but im learning to love playing jazz/blues, if u can play this style, metal/death metal/speed metal/prog metal/rock /alternative rock/prog rock/blue grass/pop/anything is way easier to play, just believe me just ask any real musician who knows a lot about music, jazz and blues are the 2 hardest styles in the whole music world. |

and tazz by the way, sorry for my post, i just read it again and yea ive been dicky :P so here's what i really really meant in other (yet better) words -> metal is a really good kind of music, takes skills to play a song sometimes fast, with lots of solos or high notes and shit though, i moved on another kind of music, but yeah, what i wrote was really based on MY point of view, which can't really tells which music style is the best... so yeah i'd really love to see some metal concerts like Dream Theater for another time (even if watching them, sat on a F*CKING chair the whole time sucks), or even Korn (that is some F*CKING good shit), but actually, i wanna bring my gf at the show, so i don't wanna get drunk and trash all over the place ya know... so a jazz/blues or rock concert is perfect for her since she studies in same program as i do in college... and Omega, i F*CKING love it, ill surely check it out for the tickets, sounds like a perfect timing and it's not too far from where i live (like 5 1/2 hours by car!) so yeah man thx for sharing! |

already seen em, they're gods, but their concerts suck, at least, mine and the concerts that my buddies saw, we were sitting on a chair the whole F*CKING time... nah dont wanna pay for this kind of concert again, but they are F*CKING gods of music though |

Yeah, Dream Theater is probably the most accomplished (not popularity-wise, but musically) band of all time. If you want to hear the audio form of genius without resorting to Bach, Beethoven, or Chopin, etc., listen to these guys. I can't wait to see them live. |

yea im pissed. I was gonna go to the April 7th show in nyc for opeth. 20 year anniversary show. Blackwater park album played in in its entirety plus other songs they rarely play.....sold out before I could get a ticket. PISSED. but yea go to an opeth show...have your mind blown out the back of your head. |

well, glad to tell you what i found : http://2010.heavymtl.com/band/korn on the left side of the page, you can see every band playing on the 24th and 25th of july, good thing is, it costs only 120$ for the whole weekend, with some F*CKING megadeth, slayer, alice cooper, korn, lamb of god, atreyu and alexisonfire and many others, drinking the whole F*CKING time, damn, that's going to be siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick + its only at 6 hours from where im from hehe :) |
