for anyone who hates using a controller to play your FPS games on xbox, check this thing out. http://xim3.com/?page_id=182 it should be coming out soon, within the next month or so, and it will allow you to play on your xbox with your mouse and keyboard instead of the stupid analog sticks on a controller. i'm buying this thing, cause i can't stand unresponsive controllers for FPS, but i hate the low player count and hackers of PC games. |

yeah, this thing could actually create a change in console gaming. if it sells really big, it could force console companies to consider adopting a mouse for FPS aiming. |

yeah the only thing about the mouse and keyboard is that it's not a portable as a controller tho so i'd no longer get to like play upside down or something like i could with a controller still is nice tho. |

Yeah but read up on it more, they are making it compatible with more than just the mouse and keyboard, like wii remotes and playstation move controllers. |

oh dam yeah i'll read more of it. first time opening it only about half of the stuff appeared cause of laggy internet lol. trying to play fps's with a wii remote and nunchuk would be intense |

well, i mean you could use the mouse for aiming and shooting, and use a joystick or something for movement, so it wouldn't be as cumbersome as a keyboard. |

i did infact try something similar that converted my mouse in keyboard to work on my xbox and it didn't move like it would on the pc. I sold it off craigslist as soon as i could cos it was so bad. |

emerald, i tried a different one of those a year or so ago as well, and it too sucked. this one, however, is meant to be far superior to any others. |

Just thought I'd update you guys, in case any of you are interested. This thing is F*CKING AWESOME! It takes a bit to get the settings set up to your liking, but aiming is soooo much better, even with mild auto-aim interference. I went and bought a gaming keypad instead of using a keyboard, because the xbox doesn't recognize the keyboard and you don't need all those extra keys anyway. Check out my set up.

I dont understand why microsoft couldnt build in compatibility for a keyboard and mouse out of the box, or simply do an OTA update for support. Makes sense to me and would take the console to the next level for competitive gaming. |

I like this adaptor alot. I'd love to have something like this, but 150 dollars is a lot though, it's a tough price point. I guess its the price you pay for quality. |
