Do you really think it would make that much of a difference?

yes i do. my roommate mindless, has a weighted g5. when i play with it i notice that when i move the mouse (whether it be slow or fast) there isn't any jumping or skipping across the screen. my mouse is so light that it's hard to move it smoothly across the pad. the weights just make it smooth.

I use a Razer Copperhead. Have for a few years and I added the pro-mod kit that adds weight to it. And it does make a difference.

I never thought the weight would have made that much of a difference. I am content for the MX518 for now Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_16

I use a limited edition G5 mouse with no weights. I had the first edition of the g15 keyboard which i miss dearly, but now i have the new g15, and it's pretty much the same, besides the location and quantity of macro keys on the left side, and a few minor changes to the backlight color and lcd controls/color lcd

my buddy got one of the new g15s, i'm still usin my first gen one. i don't like the new one as much. i like being able to close my screen.
and having 18 macro keys with 3 diff memory settings.
you should look up lcdstudio acid if you don't know what it is already.
