pretty sure it limits you somewhat.

If you guys remember Thrice or have seen him around, he's ranked the #1 Ricochet player in the world, he uses 21 sensitivity for it.

logitech g5 = 800 or 1200 dpi i forget ; no weight
ingame sens= 1.8-2.3 higher when i havent played for awhile then i drop it down as i start to play more

windows sens= i have no idea

doc gave me a program to turn off mouse acceleration in windows, sucked at first now i dont notice it. i wouldnt recommend using it just because of the time needed to get used to it.

I have the CPL mouse fix too, it took me like 5 seconds to get used to it.

I highly recommend it.

Also, I'm using a Razer Copperheadd 1600 DPI at 5.7 sensitivity. Windows sensitivity 6/11.

That might be what fucks me up here at times. I've gotten kinda used to it, but when I'm playing around with sensitivities, the mouse seems to move faster as I'm turning around then if I'm following somone running in front of me.

I'm actually a problem child and I suck at this living thing: I've actually gone through every LAN Championship video (mainly complexity and sk.swe) and studied how much they move their mouse compared to how much the screen moves. Basically, I think I've got a good low sensitivity - godly for getting pwnage headshots at mid-long range, decent at rushing.

MX518: 800 DPI
Windows Sensitivity: 5/11
Sensitivity 2.25

Sensitivity is controlled by the game, desktop sensitivity, refresh rate, resolution, and the type of mouse you have. Not many of you will have the same set up so don't bother using someone else's number... it won't be the same. Just know that lower sensitivity helps with precision and accuracy, and higer sensitivity helps with quicker movements (better reflexes)... That's it. So pick a sensitivity and stick with it.

Very true; the thing is to get wich sensitivity fits ur play,
I´ve just changed mouse (MS Mouse 6000 wireless) and there were small change, but when I changed resolution, I had to increase sensitivity.

The reason they call fps games "twitch games" is because you are supposed to have to knock your mouse around to turn in obtuse angles.
Ideally you want to get your sensitivity as low as you can until you are useless in CQB. typically this is around 1-1.5ish. When you need to turn or 180, etc, you kinda tap your mouse real hard, hence the "twitch"
