okay so i LOVE to use weapon skins because i get tired of the same shit all the time, but when i go in to a server that has pure on i.e. a scrim server they freak out and spam noises and then crash my game so i have to go into my folder and delete my matierials, models, sounds, and scripts folder. So my question here is, it their a way i can have it scripted to know if the server has pure on, and just move my folders out and then place them back in, via console ingame or something? i dont like haveing to do this shit all the time, and i like skins, and i like playing in scrims so im kinda in a bad spot imo |

Or you could just make a copy of your default cstrike folder BEFORE you put custom skins/sounds in it and then switch over whenever you find out a server's config. Name it like "cstrike1" and then when you want to switch back to it after adding skins to "cstrike", change "cstrike" to "cstrike2" and then rename "cstrike1" to "cstrike" and vice versa. |

I think you can set up a couple of aliases to make a single keybind act as an on/off toggle. |

I like using skins too but certain servers just act weird when you have them on. I do exactly what Kwang said, make two cstrike folders =P It helps also as a back up incase a skin or custom mod might not work properly. I used to use a "More blood" mod but it would cause problems from time to time and crash my game. |

I wish someone would make a skin where everyone looked like a giant penis! You could have white penises as CT and black for T's, and the bullets would be all white dots flying at everyone. The bomb would be a vagina that you would have to find the G-spot to defuse, oh wait if we did that the bomb would never get defused. Anyways I think that skin would make the game fun in a whole new way. |

Or atleast that's how I feel when defusing the bomb without a kit :P |
