Is it just me or does the main seem to have been laggy for the past few days or so? I know the server is in Texas and im Virgina so maybe its just me, but my ping seems to be fine. Just thought i'd ask and see if others are laggy too. |

I've noticed a little lag for the last couple weeks, but thought it was just me. |

Ya i am experiencing lag in some maps more than others, and some where i did not used to before. My choke is high. 5-10. although occasionally goes to 0. my firewall is down. And rarely my whole game just freezes and just comes back after 5 or 10 secs. |

I dunno -- nothing really has changed -- could be the internet if it started around the 5th of the month. |

I've not noticed any undue lag, but I've not been monitoring choke. |

All the DNS root servers rolled out DNSSEC. They say nothing bad has happened but there are all kinds of things that DNSSEC changes (that are good) but legacy hardware / software might not be compatible with. Specifically things like ISPs caching DNS requests are gone (I think). So increased internet congestion could be expected. |

I dont know but could it be happening because of Microsoft processes? Windows defender always has real-time protection on and i use it. The odd thing is i dont get out of the ordinary lagg in left 4 dead, its mostly in css. |

Everytime a nade blows up by me or the bomb blows up my fps drops to like 20...and I run a nice rig, and on other servers it doesn't do it nearly as bad. Maybe a 5-10 decrease for a second but not a 150+ fps drop |

Damn that explains a lot as to why I lost my DNS connection a few days ago all night with comcast and why my internet has gotten much laggier but its been getting better. |

Ugh.... DNS I had to switch back to my ISP's horrible DNS servers because Google's DNS started having some probs. It's all good now though. |
