I thought since twl is pretty much done and we have so many n00bs that scrim that we could try our own little league. Not just with fs or 420 or BC members but with all n00bs I'd like this to be a community wide event. My ideal plan would to have 8-10 teams of 5 and each team having a match once a week. So post here if you are interested or if you like to help set it up.

Yeah, you may want to reduce the # of teams and have backup/ringer players, otherwise there will be lots of forfeits

yeah not all the matches will be going on at the sametime or day so a player on another team who isnt playing at that time could play (of course they would have to be around the same skill level) if someone cant make.

This is not somethign I owuld be able to do for a little while, but I had an idea a while back that people might be interested in. I'd also need some help because it's been years since I've messed with CS mods.

I think the system that would work the best for n00bfest would be similar to ESEA where the scrims were scripted and the stats recorded. People would be ranked based on their performance, but also based on who they were playing with/against which would eliminate people wanting to stack teams. Teams could even be auto-sorted by rank.

This would also make picking teams for tournaments easier by drawing the teams from these rankings.

I'd love to see teams in a ladder also, and I'd be willing to help where needed, I just don't have a lot of confidence in it at this time.

Old stats line from a match in OT, I probably have the program somewhere and it works for Source, all you need is the logs from the match and put in the 2 teams and it spits out an html file with that and a few more things at the bottom that doesn't fit on one screen.

How are you planning on doing this? Random teams or teams sign up? We tried random teams before and no one showed up to play.
