- Signups are restricted to n00b members and recruits
- The tournament will be held on February 25th, 2012. It will start at 1:00 PM CST. We want everyone to be in ventrilo for the event by 12:30 PM CST.
- Teams will be 5v5
- The number of teams depends on the number of signups
- Ringer signups are available and we encourage it.
- If you cannot play, do not sign up
- If you sign up and you later find out you cannot play, let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- No-shows on tournament day will result in a one-week ban from n00bfest servers AND forums.
- 15 rounds will be played on each side; first to 16 rounds won wins the tournament
- Teams will be decided based upon skill with an even possible distribution of skill. Note that there may be some teams that are marginally stronger than others, but we'll do our best to keep them as balanced as possible; if you don't like that, don't sign up.
- Cheating will not be tolerated. All players must start recording demos at the beginning of each half. Any person caught cheating in the tournament will be banned from n00bfest and possibly raped by me.

Possibly more to come as time goes by, but this is a good start.

Can't have OT if it's first to 16 -- explain a situation in which you'd have OT if I'm retarded and mistaken.

Participants will be required to be in Ventrilo.

There are 15 rounds in each half. 1 team wins 8-7 first half... the other team wins the second half 8-7. The score is 15 to 15 and OT needs to be played out :o

What if they are tied at 7 and they kill each other at the same time?

One person will always die before the other one in CS.

OT is usually 1-3-5 rounds, I don't personally like 1 because of how 1 round can play out and you are fucked instantly, and 10k-13k-16k start money.

The best way to handing O/T is a 1v1 champion duel, where each team chooses a champion and they duel to the death, determining the winner.

May I suggest setting giving all players noclip, 1 HP, and only knives?

Noclip is god mode as well. HP doesn't matter.

First to 3 is pretty good, first to 5 is easier to accomplish (first to 3 usually ends up with like triple overtime).

Oh oops I meant no clip, like no ammo for their knives. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_34

Of course we are. Champion duels are not restricted to fantasy games. You just replace the lance/sword/morning star with a gun/knife.

Reborn is still entertaining the idea that he's not an old man who's bad at CS:S.

Just let him go. It's cute.

Are we still using X-Ray? The last two tournies we had to have this up and running, so I just wanted to make sure to have it available for this one.

Pretty sure XRay went under sometime last year after closing the client temporarily.
