New computer, can't install it for some reason...

 New computer, can't install it for some reason...So my new computer won't install D3... It used to open the launcher and not download anything, so I read online to just delete everything and try again, and now it won't go past the updating thing before it opens the launcher.
Anyone know of a way to fix this? Is it Battle.net's side, or mine? |

Re: New computer, can't install it for some reason... i think its bnet but you should open a ticket to blizzard via bnet to get a resolution. they are extremely helpful on those things

Re: New computer, can't install it for some reason... I've had a problem with blizz installers before. Uninstall completely then turn your anti-virus / firewall off and start it again. That has worked for me in the past esp. when ive been running norton or mcafee

Well, it turned out Blizz was late in updating their D/L on the site during the patching time. So if you downloaded the old version during patch time, it wouldn't recognize that it needed to patch, and was unable to complete it's checking update sequence (I tried all the random "fixes" for this problem, then found a post on forums about the bug). |
