Hmm what I bring to the n00bfest community, is a tough question. I guess I would have to say that I can always piss Hito off. Used to play in CALi. Not promising anything but have been playing counter strike since the day it came out. So I assume I am somewhat good. But really what this game is to me is having a good time with good people. Eh not much I can think of!

it is not suprising! But from what I can remember which my memory is not all that great bbp was an old clan of mine as well as mutiny and n00bfest and a few others are a fleeting few I can remember as a clan that has lasted through the days.

I got banned from BBP for hacking. The head admin, forget his name, well...LOL I think it was you (LOL)

Me and my sister Sugar used to pub there lots, and I was a reg for the longest time but the head admin and a few others always thought I was hacking. Then one day on de_dust, I was on T and the head admin was on CT and I kept rushing towards bombsite A, but hooking right at the first exit and running around the corner and shooting the guy in the face just because I could hear him running toward me and half the time I'd kill him through a box, with my first bullet. So he banned me because I did it like 5 rounds in a row.

I went on the forum and did an unban request but everyone backed up the other guy because he'd "been playing since beta 3" but I've been playing since beta 5.2 and have played vs plenty of CAL-i guys. Shit, I used to scrim vs Devastation all the time and school them.

Haha perhaps it was me, idk I really don't remember much of that time. I was in school doing my thing. But if I remember correctly I don't remember banning anybody, just kicked people. But who knows I could have banned you back in the day.

Hello and welcome to n00bfest!

The reason you have received this message is because you have been accepted as a [rct] of n00bfest - this means that you are now a recruit for the [n00b] tag and all that comes with it.

There are, however, a couple of things that are required of you to get into n00bfest and receive the [n00b] tag.

  • It is required for you to be active both in the game server and the forum. This means posting replies to threads you find interesting that will add to the conversation - it does not mean spam "lol," "haha," or many other one word responses simply to raise your post count. This also means that you need to let us know when you're in the server. We're not always looking for your name wondering when so-and-so is going to be on. It is your responsibility to say hello to us, make sure you get our attention, and are able to let us get to know you.
  • Read the rules and obey them. As a council, we check up on how the admins respond to you; if you get banned for something stupid like team killing or talking back to an admin, you will heavily reduce your chances of getting into n00bfest.
  • Read the previous rule again, and understand that there is going to be some hazing. If you catch any shit from an admin, understand that it's not a personal vendetta against you; it's just our way of making sure that you can take a little bit of abuse and harassment without blowing up and acting like a douchebag. If you're not OK with that, then get in contact with myself or any other Council member and we can discuss it in further detail. If you feel an admin is out of line, send an email to elders(at)n00bfest(dot)com and it will be addressed. Do NOT make a thread on the forum bitching out an admin or any other member. Such flagrant douchebaggery will not be tolerated and will likely result in a ban.
  • Do not ask when your [rct] period will be over. That information is for us to know and you to find out -- if and when you're accepted into [n00b].
  • Please respond to this message. We need to know that you actually got the message and that you understand what is required of you. Once you respond, you may wear the [rct] tag and take your first step into earning n00bdom.
  • Make sure you join the n00bfest rct group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/n00bfestRct
  • Also make sure you authenticate your Steam ID once you are accepted. You can authenticate here: http://www.n00bfest.com/auth/
