edit:as most of the people should know i was drunk as balls(still am while writing this) for the above. for real though: ive been an admin/am admin/chief pen tester for multiple clans(currently Aod and AK). im very knowledgable when it comes to hackers in game/rcon hackers/forum hackers.(also known as exploits or for the l337 spl0tz). despite your horrid abuse of me this night(which was all in good fun, i think we all knew) i really do enjoy playing with/at the server. anyway off for some sleep. if you have questions you got my steam id.

Hello and welcome to n00bfest!

The reason you have received this message is because you have been accepted as a [rct] of n00bfest - this means that you are now a recruit for the [n00b] tag and all that comes with it.

There are, however, a couple of things that are required of you to get into n00bfest and receive the [n00b] tag.

  • You will have to be active both in the game server and the forum. This means posting replies to threads you find interesting that will add to the conversation - it does not mean spam "lol," "haha," or many other one word responses simply to raise your post count.
  • Read the rules and obey them. As a council, we check up on how the admins respond to you; if you get banned for something stupid like team killing or talking back to an admin, you will heavily reduce your chances of getting into n00bfest.
  • Read the previous rule again, and understand that there is going to be some hazing. If you catch any shit from an admin, understand that it's not a personal vendetta against you; it's just our way of making sure that you can take a little bit of abuse and harassment without blowing up and acting like a douchebag. If you're not OK with that, then get in contact with myself or any other Council member and we can discuss it in further detail. If you feel an admin is out of line, send an email to elders(at)n00bfest(dot)com and it will be addressed. Do NOT make a thread on the forum bitching out an admin or any other member. Such flagrant douchebaggery will not be tolerated and will likely result in a ban.
  • Do not ask when your [rct] period will be over. That information is for us to know and you to find out -- if and when you're accepted into [n00b].
  • Please respond to this message. We need to know that you actually got the message and that you understand what is required of you. Once you respond, you may wear the [rct] tag and take your first step into earning n00bdom.
  • Make sure you join the n00bfest rct group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/n00bfestRct
  • Also make sure you authenticate your Steam ID once you are accepted. You can authenticate here: http://www.n00bfest.com/auth/

read it all ninja, and i can defiantly say that you know im fine with hazing, considering before i even applied i was being hazed :P. Other than that i will say that i tend to only post when i feel i have something to contribute, so you wont see me posting a lot on forums, just really isnt my thing.to give you an idea: a game i played when i was younger called starfury had a forums system for general bs, talking about the game, bug reporting etc. now i started playing this game in its alpha, after 5 years of continuous play my post count still hadnt broken 1k. whereas most people with even a year of play were well over that. sure i share some jokes and such now and then but mainly i look to contribute, so please dont look at a low post count/posts per day from me as a sign of inactivity, i still tend to check forums every day or two, i just dont necessarily reply to anything on them.
