Post [CS:GO] Friendly Fire Messages w/ FF Off
You told me to post this for you so you can take a look at it. I've been in some casual servers that don't display the ff messages when attacking teammates and some that do, don't know what the option is. Maybe FF setting is default on but casual doesn't allow it at all.

I MAY have just fixed this. Reply to this thread if you still see this behavior after the next map change.

Server will likely need a restart, then. I don't want to restart it now since there are players in it.

I haven't had a chance to play GO in a few days - is the friendlyfire notification still coming up?

Yah but i have noticed this is on other servers aswell. Im beginning to think this is On Valve. Regardless I don't see it being a Detrimental issue, more of a minor annoyance.

I've seen servers with friendly fire off and the messages not displaying when attacking team mates. But like you said it's really not a big deal if you can't figure it out, not like people read chat anyways.

Have you tried turning on friendly fire and then turning it off?

I read that you have to have everything friendly fire turned off also or it could cause this.
"mp_friendlyfire" "0"
"ff_damage_reduction_grenade" "0"
"ff_damage_reduction_bullets" "0"
"ff_damage_reduction_other" "0"
"ff_damage_reduction_grenade_self" "0"
