Post Samsung Kies
I have a question about this ShitKies

First: is there a better way to upload music from my pc to my cellphone without using Kies?

Second: If no, is there a reason why it is SO slow? I'm currently uploading 505 songs to it. The first ≈120 songs uploaded within 5-10 min. Now I'm at 170 and it took 2 hours to get from 120 to 170. The formats are all the same (.wav) so there's no reason to upload ridiculously slow at that point.

Anyone encountered this before? I tried looking on the forums, most of the problems are incompatibility on the OS, which is not my case. I just want it to be faster but it keeps crashing or slowing down after a while.

Thanks

Kies is shitty!!! Plug your phone in and do mass storage mode. Find the location of the music and do a copy (or cut) and paste. Easy as that.

If that doesnt work go into applications/my files then find your music in there. touch and hold down on the folder it is located hit copy or move. Then move to your external SD card if you have one.

I don't know what media player you use (if any) on your computer; I use Media Monkey and it supports transferring music to my Samsung phone.

God, I tried a few times to transfer it directly to the phone and it never really worked properly. I'll try to move it to my sd card.

I use itunes (also shitty) because I'm really used to it and don't care if it's slow. It doesn't support my phone.

So, if you're not retarded, all you've got to do is use the USB Utilities option on your phone, tell it to go into mass storage mode, blam. Drag and drop. I don't use any stupid unnecessary software for putting files on my phone. no point.

For the record, I'm using an S II Skyrocket.

Yeah, I've been doing this now. I just noticed I wasn't uploading the music in the right folder (for some unknown reason).

F*CK Kies.

If youve bought music from itunes and dont want to go through the trouble of converting it. Get a program called double twist and the app on your phone too. makes it a lot easier to sync that stuff
