Got another computer? Grab the drivers on that and toss em on a flash drive.

It's your power supply.

I know this sounds like overkill but when shit like this happens to me I wipe and re-install OS. I have my hard drives setup that I lose nothing that is not backed up on a seperate hard drive and what can it hurt since even it does not work it does speed things up on the system. If that does not fix it then you know it's a hardware issue.

Before you reinstall - did you enable restore points in Win? If yes try to restore with the date before your VGA died. If this and other things do not work check the warranty for that card. Usually it's 3 years, so if your card is still covered open RMA with the manufacturer (not reseller).

Make sure all nvidia drivers are completely uninstalled unless you're using a motherboard with a nvidia chipset on it IE nforce4 5 ect. Shutdown the pc remove the card and then replace it. Then turn it on and make sure you go to the bios and disable the onboard video and reinstall drivers once in windows.

Things to remember.

If your board is sli enabled make sure you are using the correct slot

Make sure you are using the correct video output from the back of the card

If you were using sli and removed one of the cards there could be a dipswitch or jumper that needs to be changed in order to display video in non sli mode.

Also I would try to install the drivers fro
The cd that came with your card if the ones from nvidia aren't working for you

Yea i already did a restore point, it goes back but then i have nothing for like no nvidia or the Intel GG3/G31 Express Chipset Family installed - which is what it's using right now the VGA port, normally i used this and this
but i'm using this right now

I got the computer back in 07 so it's def over the 3 year warranty, I'm gonna try to do that again Geno, I have tried the Nvidia CD it came with but it gave me that error. If it doesn't work I think i may have to resort to doing a recovery :(, hopefully it's not hardware. Thanks a bunch for your help guyz

Look on the bright side, your system will run faster now and you don't have to defrag for awhile.
