Post subject:  sound is really soft/hollow
Is there any reason my sound should be really soft and hollow. It was fine a few days ago i left came back later that night and the sound was really soft and its hard to hear anything. The sound is fine when not ingame. I have the in game volume as well as the volume control out of game turned all the way up. Am i missing something?

Check to see if your audio setting is different than usual for headphones, 2 speakers, or one of the other options.

yeah im set to headphones. I dont know why this has happened. It was working fine then a few hours later shitty sound. Everything else sounds great just CS sucks.

My sound got all funky on the 3rd or 4th too. I updated nvidia drivers, and it changed a couple settings in css for some reason. prolly not related to your trouble, but worth a shot. Also I think css updated about then too.

That update was about server queries and got put out with the huge TF2 patch.
