Alright i need some more help. My DVD drive will detect some games and not others. I made sure there were no smudges on the bottom and all that good shit and i went threw all my games just to see if it would read them. About half of them didn't work. I moved up to my 500 gig hard drives and installed several different programs on to it off of DVDs. Then halfway threw installing CoD4 it came up with an error so i took the disk out and removed the smug and placed it back and told it to continue and it just kept popping up saying that there was no disc in the drive and to insert one. i uninsulated the drivers installed the new ones again. Can anyone think of anything else i can try to do. Cause I'm really bored not being able to play the game i love so much Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_32. |

download a virtual rom drive. powerISO is a good one but they only have cd drives -_-. i used to have a real good one for dvds, can't remember the name for the life of me! but yeah try that and if it doesn't work you'll probably need a new drive. that's what i had to do a little bit ago, drive wouldn't read my mobo disc when i built my computer.... that was pretty gay. edit: daemon tools is what you want, it works like a charm :) virtual cd/dvd drives, freeware too! |

i never figured that out either. my drive would read my old mobo cd but not the new one! mine was 5 years old though so that could have been the problem. but my new drive is all gravy, i have a liteon 22x dvdr/rw, works great. |
