Don't you need a highend SLI to run games on soemthing like this with AA and AF?

Personally I hope to have 3 monitors with the Matrix TripleHead2Go before Infinity Online comes out.

i have a 24" monitor, and a 42" tv. i can't imagine playing cs on my 42". actually, i think it would be too big to play on, unless i could sit a few feet from it.

But max res is only 1920 by 1080 most 24 inch monitors can do that much. I just saw it on newegg and really got jealous and started to water at the mouth.

Dont cha know that setting so close to monitors makes your eyes bad. This way i can set 5 feet away and still have to turn my head to see the whole screen. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_06

no, 1920x1200 is better. the higher the numbers, the higher the resolution.

did you read the part about computer monitors?

1900x1080 would not be very good for pc gaming on a monitor that size.Thats just to few pixels for 42 inches of screen. And also the pc resolution on tv's is sometimes lower than the native.

But still its a nice tv.

WTH is 1600p? Their promoting upscaling which isn't the greatest way to get a good picture. Upscaling is the next new big marketing ploy for companies to try to attract customers by throwing big numbers in their face.

Although the concept isn't that bad the implementation is where upscaling lags behind. Right now the technology behind upscaling isn't very good and very few tvs have the processing power to make upscaling extremely good. Maybe this is one of those tvs but I'd have to see for myself or read a lot of positive reviews before buying it.

That's not a very good review. They didn't even talk about fast paced scenes which can look funny on displays that use upscaling technology.

Did you read the comments? I take everything with a grain of salt but with that many people complaining I'd probably wait or look at another display. Having good customer service is invaluable and my experience with gateway has shown they are not a very good company when it comes to service.

Not a good review? It was their pick for the "Dream Machine".The downsides were a huge power brick and very high native. But you can run lower resolutions that still look great and who cares how big the power brick is.

I'm not saying its the best, Maximum did.As far as costumer service pffff. If i was gonna drop a grand a 30" it would be the gateway. But alas im not. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_32
