Um so i really want to build a core i7 computer and i would like your input on what you guys think at this point. Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811119160 PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817153054 (switched it up a bit and found a Tt Toughpower) Blue-ray/DVD/CD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6827136154 Mo-Bo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813121361 CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115201 Heat-sink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835608007 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145224 OS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6832116488 (yes windows 7 will be out soon but i like vista so F*CK off) Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824009154 Monitor Stand: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824183112 (so i can have my 15 inch above it) GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130365 (this will be the last thing that i get since my two 9600's will do for now) I'm looking at 2 grand worth of parts but wont have to upgrade for a bit. Also when i get the money to buy it prices should be cheaper and the Core i7's. Pluse i can sell my current system to my brother for 500 Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_08. Just useing hdd's from my computer right now. So what do you think about it. |

only one issue that I found with it... where's the hdd? EDIT: scratch that... no issues seen here, looks like a kick ass setup, too bad I don't have the money to put myself another one together |

aspend the extra 50-60 bux and get the p6t.. you wont be sorry that case is a beast :) and bigger than you think it is.. i shied away from tagan psus because of somthing i read on [H]ardOCP (do a search you'll find it) somthing to keep in mind.. i hit 3.3Ghz on my i7 920 the first time i tried.. just tweakin the bclk looks tight,, we'll have to compare pix :P |

Well acid said that the intel was better then the dfi one that i wanted to get so i changed it up (um ill wait till the V2 comes out for that board). And give me a few months and we can go at it. |

I think I told you this in vent, but you need to remember to check the dimensions of your mb heatsinks and the cpu heatsink and fan. It sucks when you have to mess with your cpu heatsink for half an hour to get it to work with your mobo without pressing on one of those heatsinks... |

Get a modular power supply. Also, look at the Antec Nine Hundred case. It's probably the best case evar. |

Ill sell you my old one once i get my new one in. Its Q6600 um 650i mobo (old tech but it works great still) 2 8500's for sli aftermarket heatsink and lots of blue led fans. |
