| Post subject: | Quake sounds not working. |
I am having problems with the quake sounds for the server. The problem is not that I have turned them off via "quake" command but when I look in the console I see something along the lines of "cannot play quake blah blah blah file may be missing." I like the fact that I don't here the quake noises but its annoying looking in the console and having to scroll a lot do to the sound files not working and spamming it. Anyone have an idea on how I should fix this? |

I think you're going to have to redownload the sounds. This happens with a lot of people. I'm too lazy to look for the link though, so google it. |

Because my console is getting spammed with messages about them not working. Tis the only reason why I want to fix them. |

Same problem happened to me. Don't download them off the server. You gotta go to a different website and get the quake sounds. Here's where i got mine: http://www.fpsbanana.com/sounds/216 go to your steam folder>steamapps>(username)>CSS>cstrike to delete the already dl'ed ones from the server |
