For some reason every time i open up steam it updates and when the my games window opens it says that everything i installed is not installed. Anyone know why? |

lol nice ok i did that but steam install won't finish downloading so it doesn't save steam on my desktop and i can't find steam to open it |

what you can do is just do a windows search for "steam.exe" and delete everything but the steam.exe from your steam folder and run the steam.exe and it will download everything again for you... |

Download this. Extract anywhere but the Steam folder and run the .exe! |

ok thank you but i think i fixed it already and that was the problem i couldn't delete it because it kept saying couldn't find steam.exe folder |

ok i thought wrong i can't delete it now because it says it could not open install.log folder and i can't install it cz again because i have no memory left |

had the same problem i juss deleted steam off my comp and started again rom scratch from the cd i installed with |
