how much memory does steam+the couner strike anthology take up.
i need to uninstall everything and reinstall it again with my CD. i tried uninstallind and reinstalling my CZ but it says it need like 27 gigs and i only have like 5 gigs free. so i decided to uninstall everything and reinstall it again with my CD. i was wondering how much space this will take total to see if i even have enough room to reinstall it agian.

Approx. 3 or 4 gigs I'd say if you want to include maps and such. Right clicking CZ, 1.6, and Source and going under properties I get about 2.5 gigs, but I'm not sure how much steam alone takes up.

My entire Steam folder, with 2 profiles and entire CS and DoD series takes up 7.4 gigs.

Why don't you go through add/remove programs and delete all the shit you never use anymore.

My entire Valve folder is 14gigs. That includes cs, cs:cz, cs:s, tfc, blueshift, cs:deleted scenes, opposing force, HL, HL2, and 7 mods. Plus a couple demos and what not. 5 gigs should really be plenty however I don't know the exact requirments. With the anthology you should be able to opt out on the install for the games you won't be playing.
