It's around 1:30 am and I'm playing Dragon Age, middle of a boss fight. Figures. Get a knock on the door by an exhausted looking police officer. The man begins explaining how we've been getting noise complaints, and if I could cut it down. I tell him "Sir, I apologize, but I'm in the middle of a boss fight in Dragon Age." He asks which one, sympathizes, and tells me to carry on as he walks back to his cruiser. I didn't start laughing 'til 5 minutes after,when I realize what had just transpired. One of the rare moments I've had respect for a police officer around here. (To stop the likely troal, I can't afford nice head phones. Nor have I found a good deal for used ones yet.) |

You can always try to muffle the sound put pillows in the windows if its an house or unattached apartment. If that isn't the problem then move your computer/xbox to a different room. But i do have to say I wish most of the cops in my town were nerds. |
