So I was walking in the park today on my usual route to the library where I go online and there was this latina woman, probably about 40 years old sitting on a bench. She was with her three daughters, ages roughly around thirteen, nine and four. I overhear her talking to someone about how her youngest daughter wants to ride without training wheels but she didn't have any tools handy. As I walk by her, she calls over to me from the bench, looking a little distraught. "Excuse me sir, you wouldn't happen to have any tools on you, would you?" I say "No, I'm sorry but I don't have any tools on me." and then as I'm about to walk away, I remembered that I carry an adjustable wrench in my knapsack. So I turned around and said "Wait a minute, I just might have something." The woman says "Oh, thank you thank you thank you!" and then starts in again about her four year old's bicycle and how she wants to ride without the training wheels. The bike is perhaps the smallest bike made for humans that I have ever seen, not a big-wheel of course, just a regular bicycle. It has white tires, 2-3 inches wide and about 12 inches in diameter, give or take an inch or two. The frame is purple, the seat is white with sparkle trim along the sides, and it has a pink chain guard. The training wheels are white, with white paint on the metal. "Let's see what I can do." I say, and I get down on one knee and start to take off the training wheels. While I'm in the middle of doing this, the woman asks me if there is enough air in the bicycle's tires. I check them both and although there was some air in them, it was pretty darn easy to push them most of the way in. So I inform her that they needed more air. The woman looks at her eldest daughter and says "See, I told you so!" and her daughter defends herself, saying that she meant that with the training wheels on, the bike would ride just fine. I agree with them both, in a manner of speaking. Yes, I say, the bike could be ridden easily with the training wheels on, as they take the pressure off of the rear tire, but would be a bit more difficult without them. I almost think to run home and grab my pump, but I am not feeling that generous I suppose. So I take the training wheels off, one by one, and in between each one, the woman makes sure, by instruction, that I tighten the bolts after I've taken each one off. I then get to the seat, and she asks me if it can be pulled up. I put it up about an inch and she asks me to go higher. I pull it up a few more inches and then notice the engraved ring around the piping that says 'caution' underneath it. I settle for aligning the seat's pipe to the entry hole by aligning it at the top of this line, for safety's sake. Once again, the woman instructs me to make sure that the bolt holding the seat in is tightened properly. As I finish, the woman apologizes for the trouble she has caused me, to which I state that it wasn't any trouble at all, and that it was a good use of my time. She thanks me, and then I say "You're welcome." and go on my way. |

Kwang's Morality rating went up by 15! Kwang leveled up! *buh buh buh buuuuuuuuh* you sir, are very nice to strangers, im surprised she didnt have any candy on her to give you, you know with multiple daughters candy should be a must for the park so they dont accept it from strangers. |
