This is a true story about a Palmedo bug in florida. It's around 2:30ish in the mornin, just gettin done strikin it up online and I'm off to bed. I set my alarm for 7:00 because I have a class early in the morning. Turn off the light and I notice my cat is underneath my bed scrathing underneath where my head is below where the backboard would be on a bed where you rest your head. I'm like ,F*CK my cat is being hyper tonight, so I put her out in the living room. I go back to bed and i kinda had this feeling like somthing was in the room. I was like nah....put the cat out and theres nothing in here besides me.i noticed it took me a while to fall asleep despite being tired, I just had this feeling like I was being watched. I manage to pass out and wake up, I open my bedroom door and let my cat back in. She immediatly goes back under my bed pawing uderneath as if she was trying to drag my pillow under the bed. I walk over and kneel down to get my cat to stop, and I see this huge F*CKING Palmedo bug (roach) about 5 1/2 inches long camped out on the back on my bed, like inches where my head was just minutes ago. Me and my cat finished off the beast, and I still felt a cold chill down my spine because of how paranoid I felt from the night before. I F*CKING hate insects. |

We get palmetto bugs in the house all of the time. My cats kill them as well. Thank God, I hate those F*CKING things. Story: Gr33n goes into the bathroom one morning to shower. Opens the shower curtain, jumps back and says, "WHOA". I thought that sounded bad. I thought that sounded VERY BAD. So I'm like, "WHAT." He says, "Ahhh, don't come into the bathroom for a minute," and I was like, "WHYYYYYY?" He said, "Just, dont." So then I hear banging and crashing, shampoo bottles falling, him swearing and finally, "HA! Got you you little F*CKER!" Then the toilet flushes and he gave the all clear. It was a giant, 4 inch long palmetto bug that had evidentally come up the drain and was hanging out in the tub. If it had been me, I'd have left a giant Pink3y shaped hole in the wall getting the F*CK out of there. UGH! |

Too cold up here in Canada for those F*CKERS, I hate insects so I am glad we don't have any big ones up here. All our insects are small and squishable. |

Well CPTReynolds we have our own big bugs. the stats have them too, they are know as assassin bugs. I live in New Brunswick, Canada and outside my work i found a nice 2.5 inc Reduvius personatus also known as a Masked hunter. ![]() we also have Wheel bugs which are spiny versions of these. good news tho they arn't known for sucking human blood. they mostly go after bedbugs and other insects. but some like the assassin bugs in tropical places suck human blood and the blood of anything else they can catch. there is a youtube video of one sucking the blood out of a bat. |

The nasty shit here in Ontario is Horse Flies and Masquitoes. The Horse Flies can take a good chunk out of ya but the Masquitoes carry West Nile so you have to be careful of those F*CKERS. Do you guys have a problem in the States with the West Nile Virus in Masquitoes? The Horse Flies are only a problem in wooded areas though up here with the bears. |

We have ALL those bugs in this thread. ALL of them! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Plus yellow flies, which hurt, bleed, and then itch and don't heal for like, 3 weeks. And fire ants. WHY do I live in Florida again?! |
